Mrs. Hill is teaching sixth grade science at D.S.A. this year! In her 18 years of teaching she has spent 12 of them brightening the students of our school. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors Degree in special education. Mrs. Hill would like her classes to use the Scientific Method to come up with experiments that interest them.

Ms. Moulton is this year's sixth grade history teacher! She's originally from Ohio but moved to Florida and has been working at D.S.A. for her whole teaching career. She has also taught science and language arts but this year she is instilling history into the minds of our new middle schoolers. Ms. Moulton hopes that her students take it upon themselves to read and expand their knowledge in any field.

Ms. Armstrong + D.S.A.= the sixth grade math teacher! She has been working at our school for over a decade. She's originally from New Jersey and got her high school diploma from Madison Central high school. She graduated from Warner University and became a teacher at D.S.A. One of Ms.Armstrong's students, Genesis Estevez, says math is her favorite subject and she enjoys working on fractions. Ms.Armstrong wants her classes to work on multiplication and fractions at home.

If you're wondering who is the sixth grade reading and language arts teacher, it's Ms. Turlington! She's been teaching for eighteen years, and at D.S.A. for over a decade! She has a Master's Degree in Language Arts from the University of South Florida because she loves getting lost in stories and writing from the heart. She is thrilled to share that love with readers and writers. When she's not at school, she is taking in every second with her boys, who both attend Harrison School for the Arts.

Mrs. Alexander was born in Pompano Beach, in Florida. She has 2 stepdaughters that live in Georgia.  Mrs. Alexander decided that she wanted to teach when she was a young girl but did not know what subject to teach until she reached college. She realized she wished to become a math teacher in college. Mrs. Alexander has been a teacher for 14 years. She started teaching at Auburndale High School after she graduated from college. That is where she came from before joining us at DSA.

Mrs. Shelton teaches 6th grade reading. She has been teaching for 13 years, and this is her second year at DSA! We welcome Mrs. Shelton to our family! She is married, and she has two sons.
