Where Does The Money Go?

  • ALSF has funded more than 500 research projects across North America.

Davenport School of the Arts is humbled to be associated with Alex's Lemonade stand for the 2017-2018 school year. We will be raising money for this worthy cause through all of our Academics and Arts Departments; including all performances; as well as PTO events and social media. Every dollar from each ticket sold for the shows, and 100% of the profits from the lemonade sales at our concession stand will be donated.

Alexandra "Alex" Scott

January 18, 1996 - August 1, 2004

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand cancer patient Alexandra "Alex" Scott. At the age of 4, Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation has evolved into a national fund raising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying an her legacy of hope.
