This is an flash animation. We learned how to animate drawlings and we discovered the ways of flash. We made the animation go along with a nursery rhyme. My song is Tom Tom the Pipers Son. This was created in Adobe Flash.
       
This piece was a practice exersice. In this we practiced making type and putting a clipping mass on it. The type shows only the part of the picture that is covered with text. In my first name there is a picture of a cat. In my last name ther is a picture of a llama. This picture was created on Adobe Illustrator.
       
This was a piece made for our school wide christmas contest. It is the raindeer dog from the grinch with ordaments hanging from it's antlers. This was also made in Adobe Illustrator.
       
This is one of many Half Square Triangles. In this piece it desplays blue and all of blue's hues. It also demonstrates good use of natural colors such as black and white. This like many others was made in Adobe Illustrator.
       
This is my Black and White Half Square Triangle. This was made for a childrens coloring book. It taught us the use of color schemes and natural colors. This was made in Adobe Illustrator. This peice was made in the short time when Mrs.Varner was out sick. We had a amazing subsitute Mrs.Comy who taught us how to first do this with pen and paper.
       
This is another Half Square Triangle. This piece has a red color scheme with natural colors. It is all red but all with differenmt hues. For this we learned how to use a color wheel and how the different colors go with eachother. Once again this was made in Adobe Illustrator.
       
Another Half Square Triangle. This one has the same color scheme with a different color. All the color's here are a hue of green. This was once again made in Adobe Illustrator.
       
Last but not least, my final Half Square Triangle. This was also made in Adobe Illustrator. The color scheme for this one is all priamry colors and there hues. We learned the color whell. On the color wheel blue, yellow, and red are the three main colors. This piece also has nutrual colors.
       
This is my rainbow 4 Square. I made colorful creation and duplicated it 3 times and rotated them. We them added a gradianted backround. This was made in Adobe Illustrator. We studdied patterns when working with this piece.
       
This is another 4 Sqaure. This time I made it with all warm colors.; Warm colors are red, orange , yellow, and all of there hues. This work is also taught us pattern. This was made in Adobe Illustrator.

This is my concentric circles. The designs are random and create a value, the thickness of each stroke changes the way the piece is brought together.
       
This is my Mrs.Varner card. This was made and printed out for her while she was out sick. She had kidney cancer and had to remove a kidney. Now that she is well she is back teaching us more amazing things.This was create in Adobe Illustator.

This is my texture project. We took one color and changed the hue to make a different colors. Everything is the same color besides the backround. This was made in adobe illustrator. We learned about texture. We took tiny little brushed for every shade and design.
       

I am Ashleigh Poisson and I'm a student at Davenport School of The Arts and this is a collection of my art work from my 8th grade Digital Art Elective class. Over the course of the year I have learned many things from my amazing teacher Mr. Varner. One piece of information that I will carry on with me is that there are many different file types, you need to be careful on which one you save your work as. For example there are .Jpg files and they will save all the surrounding white space, if you save as a .pdf it will cut off all the extra work that you don't want to show in the final product. These different files can help with the final products look. My favorite project of the year was our Half Square Triangle project. The patterns you can make and the different options you have really enhance the creative ability. I made many different versions of this work with many different colors and hues.
