What's happening now!

 

A student in Mr. Guira's guitar class concentrates on her new piece.

 
   

In Mr.Guira's jazz band class they are working on two songs. The songs that they are working on are called "Mini the Muncher" and "Jumpin' in the Wood side". In the song "Mini the Muncher" the wind players are working on the style of the song. Also in Mr. Guira's guitar class they just finished the song "Pachelbel’s Canon" and now are working on writing their own composition piece.

Meet The Teachers

Kyle Guira is one of the music teacher's here at DSA. He has attended the Lois Coyles Harrison Center for Visual Arts High School. Mr. Guira has earned his degree from Indian River Community College, a BM.E from the University of Florida, attended classes at Louisiana State University, and is studying Educational Leadership at the University of South Florida. Mr. Guira earned his undergraduate degree in 2000, and he has been teaching here at DSA for 15 years! In Mr. Guira’s free time he likes to play with his dog Mambo, go backpacking, hiking, play trombone, and many more outside activities.
