own pieces, audition it, and then get to perform it. Auditions will be held in the D.S.A.'s
Dance studio during the Dance Majors' Dance class the week of February 25th. The
Dance Majors can either do a solo or a group number with any other Dance Majors.
Solos, Duets, Trios, Quartets, etc. are all exceptable for this showcase. Solos can't
be longer than 2 minutes and group numbers can't be longer than 2 and a half
minutes. Some songs will have to be edited which Mrs.Carlow can do if needed.
Dance Majors choose their own music to dance to which has to be approved by
either Mrs.Carlow or Mrs.Jost. Dance Majors have to provide their own music for the
showcase. Mrs.Carlow and Mrs.Jost said the Dance Majors need to have their music
on a CD and turn it in to her by January 11th so she can edit all of the Dance Majors'
music that needs to be edited. Ticket purchase information for the showcase will be
