In Ms. Armstrong's class they are currently learning about Pi. (That would be 3.14, not the movie!)

In Ms. Moulton's class they are learning about ancient Egypt.

In Mr. Henry's class they are learning about poetry of how it expresses feelings.

For Mrs. Hill's class they're learning more about Newton's first law of motion.

	Mrs.Hill is teaching sixth grade science at D.S.A. this year! In her 17 years of teaching she has spent 11 of them brightening the students of our school. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors Degree in special education. Mrs. Hill would like her classes to use the Scientific Method to come up with experiments that interest them.

	Ms.Moulton is this year's sixth grade history teacher! She's originally from Ohio but moved to Florida and has been working at D.S.A. for her whole teaching career. She has also taught science and language arts but this year she is instilling history into the minds of our new middle schoolers. Ms. Moulton hopes that her students take it upon themselves to read and expand their knowledge in any field.

	Ms.Armstrong + D.S.A.= the sixth grade math teacher! She has been working at our school for over a decade. She's originally from New Jersey and got her high school diploma from Madison Central high school. She graduated from Warner University and became a teacher at D.S.A. One of Ms.Armstrong's students, Genesis Estevez, says math is her favorite subject and she enjoys working on fractions. Ms.Armstrong wants her classes to work on multiplication and fractions at home.

	If you're wondering who is the sixth grade reading teacher, it's Ms.Turlington! She has been teaching at D.S.A. for a whole decade! She has a Master's Degree in language arts and her classes are currently reading stories about the importance of language. In the next unit of stories, they will be unraveling the secrets of the middle ages. Ms.Turlington says, "Anyone who knows me knows I'm the '4-part Queen.'" She strongly recommends that her students do the 4-part vocabulary study procedure and read.

	Mr.Henry is one of the newest sixth grade teachers at D.S.A. He went to Landmark Christian High School and graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor's Degree in Language Arts. Mr.Henry says he wants his classes to constantly be reading and writing. He thinks keeping a journal or diary would be a great idea!
