Administration Biography's
Mrs. Farrens is one of our two assistant principals at Davenport School of the Arts(DSA). She was born in Avon Park, Florida and grew up there too. Mrs. Farrens went to Warner Southern College to get her B.S degree and USF to get her M. Ed L. Even though she has a busy schedule with school she loves scrap booking, reading, and knitting. |
Mr. Kier is the principal of DSA. He was born in Winter Haven, Florida and grew up in Haines City, Florida. He has gone to Clemson University in South Carolina for college and has had two other jobs before being the principal of our school. He was in Medical Sales for nine years in North Carolina and has was a teacher for third and fifth grade. Currently, he is the principal of our very own Davenport School of the Arts and has been for fourteen years. He loves going to the beach and hanging out with his family in his free time and can't wait for summer like the rest of us. | Ms. Braaten is the second of our two assistant principals at DSA. She was born in Champagne, Illinois and grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For college, she went to the Polk Community College for two years, Warner Southern College to get her B.S, and Nova Southeastern University to get her M.BA. Before she entered into the education field, she was a nanny. She has taught first, second, fifth, and sixth grades. She loves to shop and tan in the sun reading a good magazine. |
DSA is very lucky to have all of our administrators who work so hard to run our school and support the arts so fully. Without them we would not be able to have all of our music concerts, compete in the ITV awards, and much more. Our administrators come to our out of school events and show so much support unlike a lot of the other arts schools. Our administrators show unique dedication to our arts.
