• Did you hear about the success of the ITV awards? The title of the award show was "Country Treasure, The Legend Of Video Awards". In Category One (daily news show) DSA earned an "outstanding" rating. We also got outstanding ratings in Category Two (commercial) and in Category Four, where we were awarded with a special recognition for our great male announcer, Ben Wilmoth! For our female announcer, Laura Hill was outstanding for Category Five. In Category Eight (documentary) we made it in as a finalist. Category Nine (school promotion) brought us our final outstanding rating. Congratulations to our entire ITV team and Mr. Wilmoth!! Hope you guys win this year's ITV Awards!!

ITV has a new category "Creativity". It can be any type of video, but it must include a teddy bear, a body of water, a repair person, the phrase "What do you think you're doing?", and the emotion sadness. They give the students one week to think of ideas, and film. There are solo and group awards for the category.

Tony Wilmoth (ITV teacher)

Mr. Wilmoth was born in Haines City, Florida. He went to school right here at DSA (the old campus, of course) and went to college at the Univercity of South Florida. He has worked here at DSA for eight years and worked at Haines City High School. Mr. Wilmoth has a wife named Dawn and two children named Luke and Ben. He came to work here because he loves to teach students.
