What's Happening with the 4th graders?

Many activities are taking place in the 4th grade classrooms including multiplication and patterning in Math, and about bodies of water and land in Mrs. Rodriguez's Social Studies class. In Mrs. Steinmetz's class, her students like to say they learn smarter, not harder. On November 6th, Mrs. Wilmoth's gifted class held a mock election for the entire school, featuring the two 2012 presidential candidates; Governor Mitt Romney for the Republican party, and the eventual winner, President Barack Obama of the Democratic party.

When asked, the students are anxiously waiting for the upcoming 2 week holiday break. The holiday break will be from December 22, 2012 to January 7th, 2013. However the teachers smile and say they still have high expectations for their students in the classroom and don't want them having visions of sugar plums in their heads just yet!!!. They want to motivate them with helpful input while still having fun every "once in a while".
