January School Lunch Menu!
Behind the scenes of the Cafeteria: Food Survey
Ever wonder where all that food comes from to feed over 1000 students and staff?
The Cafeteria food is ordered from US Foods, delivered by truck, and arrives at Davenport
School Of The Arts somwhere between 10 am to 12 pm. It takes about three hours to prepare
the Cafeteria food for all of the students to eat at their scheduled lunch time.
We asked one-hundred forty-seven fifth through seventh grade students which Cafeteria food
they preferred from the cafeteria pizza, chicken patty, and hamburger. One-hundred fourteen
students said they preferred the chicken patty, fourteen people said they preferred the hamburger,
and nineteen people said they preferred the pizza. Cows everywhere are celebrating because so
many people chose the chicken!!!
